Runners Should Purchase a Stun Gun to Avoid Being a Moving Target


Running is a very popular form of cardiovascular exercise because it is simple and requires very little equipment. All that is needed is a good pair of running shoes and comfortable clothing.

You don’t need a gym membership, an expensive bike or specialized clothing. You can just walk out your door and get your cardio workout around your neighborhood.And yet trouble can be lurking when you are unaware about personal safety.

Running Alone is Risky

On the other hand you may not know of any other runners in your area, or perhaps your schedules don’t match up. As a result it is very simple for you to start running alone. At the beginning you will find it less embarrassing when you have to stop and start when you think no one is watching!

But running alone also means you are more vulnerable to attack, especially if you run alone in the dark early morning or late evening hours. It is vital that you take action when it comes to your personal safety.

When running alone, or even in a small group, consider carrying a personal protection item such as a stun gun. Stun guns for women are easy to carry and are also very portable. Specifically designed for a layperson’s use, these weapons are less bulky than their law enforcement counterparts.

If any bulk at all is daunting for you, consider the stun gun to be your new weights. Increasing weight to a cardio workout increases the number of calories burned and also helps to improve muscle tone.

It has been designed to fit around the hand like a set of brass knuckles, an invention that can ideally be carried by a runner.
